Dear All,
English Access Microscholarship Program, Gorkha Center, Gorkha, celebrated Christmas Eve on 24th December,on the auspicious occasion of Christmas. The program was organized by the Access Family Gorkha. NELTA Gorkha Executives were invited as the guests. The program last for four hours. During the program, students carried out different activities. The first was project work. Students had to prepare Christmas trees in groups. There were seven groups and they all prepared. Later the best christmas tree and winner group was identified through the voting system. Secondly,students had to sing christmas carol in group and individually. Thirdly, it was the turn of presenting christmas presents from the Santa Claus. A student, Gorkha Center Coordinator and Access teacher appeared as the Santa Claus in turn and presented chocolates and other things to the students and guests. Finally chrismas dinner was organized. All the guests, teachers and students took some fruits, cake and other delicious sweets and sang christmas songs happily. Then after NELTA Chair, Harimaya Sharma wished happy christmas to all. Mr. Kamal Raj Devkota thanked all guests, teachers and students for participating in the celebration of Christmas Eve and wished them all HAPPY CHRISTMAS.
